One day and other fake viral posts incorrectly stated that season 3 sex education would come to Netflix in October 2021 spread like fire on the internet. Unfortunately, while you can come to Netflix in October 2021, there is no official date provided for the first refund.
The post in question comes from the update of Netflix which operates mainly on Facebook (although through Netflix Diaries tags) and Twitter. They mostly post image fans but sometimes they are known to make fun of posters with the date to claim a show will soon come out.
This is false news posting the current that states that season 3 will come out on Netflix in October 2021. The post is especially fake because it uses the same asset from season 2 but does not seem to stop some of the thoughts.
They then proceeded to link to fellow Fansite Netflix, Netflixlife, which ran with Fansite. In particular, they link to a large 3 seasons 3 preview for sex education. In the preview, they did not mention the specific release date that rather said:
“We anticipate this show can return for season 3 in early August or September and arrive at the end of October 2021.”
What’s going on here? Well, first posted with the intention to be viral. However, collecting imaginary internet points made sweeter if you can make some money too. That’s what happened in this matter. If you look at the Netflix life link mentioned above, there is a small tag that is added to the final part. It allows that person to make money for traffic that is pushed through the site. This is commonly known as an affiliate scheme.
What they expect is that this is quite viral to produce enough traffic through a link which will then get money.
To be clear, we don’t blame Netflixlife here, but we have reached them to comment.
The last false post for viral from this account was back in February 2021 where Netflix itself entered the comments. The poster teases the release date of November 202. The tweet was embedded below. Of course, the date of the show, your season 3, has not been confirmed in June 2021. Again, this is not an unrealistic timeline but still has not been confirmed by Netflix.
The tweet ranged from 200,000 likes.
Of course, you can argue that this is a harmless pleasure and no one is injured but fake news is widespread in the entertainment news and is worth a try to fight it every time you see it. We would recommend reading about how to avoid being discovered with real and fake news through resources like this.
We will keep you posted when we learn more about when 3 season sex education will come to Netflix here on what is on Netflix.
