An upcoming story in New York, Sister on the lane is about expectations, belonging, and metaphorical brotherhood and literal of young Tai, Rainn, and Brooke Sheppard athletes. Superior in the trace team and their junior high school field while living in a homeless shelter with their single Tonia mother, they were chosen in 2016 to become sports children illustrated this year. The film followed the sisters for two years when they navigated sudden fame and came to themselves as adults and young athletes, guided by coach Jean Bell.

Dutch director who won the Corinne van der Borch award was based in Brooklyn. The debut of the Corinne feature, a girl with a black balloon, won the main award at Doc NYC in 2011. Tone Grøttjord-Glenne is the Norwegian Director and producer who won the award. The films are Brothers and Prirecnyy Prime in IDFA, and the film is all I was in competition in the 2020 Hot Docs.
