At the beginning of his career, Kareena Kapoor connected with many leading men but the most consistent is stories about alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan. He has expelled all like that story.
Rumors began around the time both starred in the film Kabhar Kabhi Kabhie Gham (2001). Chemistry on their screen is a city talk. They continued to work in Yaadein (2001) and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon (2003).
Hrithik was married to Sussanne Khan. Some reports suggested that his family be intervened and told Kareena Kapoor to keep the distance while several other reports alleged that he was willing to give up his career with Hrithik.
In 2002 filmfare interviews, Kareena denied these stories. He was quoted in a zoom report that said: “I am more disturbed that his marriage will be affected. For me, it is a professional danger. First is Hrithik, tomorrow it can be someone else. As long as I know the truth, I’m fine.”

He has added if his partner asked him to let go of his career, he would “kick him in the ass and told him to get lost”.
Overcoming rumors with hrithik, in another interview with the same magazine, he said: “Please give me a break. I am not photographed with a married man or I will have business with them. Married men will harm my career.”
