Taliban’s message to India after Ajit Doval chairs NSA meet on Afghanistan

The Taliban governance in Kabul said the first indigenous meeting on Afghanistan convened by India was in its “ better interest” and reiterated its pronounced policy that “ its land won’t be used against any country”. The meeting, chaired by the Indian NSA, was attended by Iran’s supreme public security council clerk, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Russia’s security council clerk Nikolai Patrushev, and the security council heads of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,

Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Wednesday’s meeting is the first indigenous meeting on Afghanistan convened by India after August 15 when the Taliban took control of the country. Watch this report for further.

A terrorist allegedly planning a self-murder attack was killed in Srinagar on Thursday night. This comes amid a shaft in violence & heightenedcounter-insurgency operations in the region. In a tweet quoting IGP (Kashmir) Vijay Kumar, J&K police linked the terrorist as Amir Riyaz.

It added he was a relative of an indicted in 2019 Pulwama attack that left 40 CRPF jawans dead. Police added that Riyaz was combined with interdicted terror outfit Mujahideen Gazwatul Hind. Riyaz was plugged down in an exchange of fire with security forces in Srinagar’s Bemina area.

Police further informed that an AK 47 rifle was recovered from the gunbattle scene. A high alert was sounded in Srinagar after a torrent of targeted attacks on civilians last month. A police bobby & a salesperson were killed last week in separate attacks. In Kulgam, two terrorists-Shiraz Molvi & Yawar Bhat-were killed in hassle on Thursday. Police said Molvi was active since 2016 & was involved in retaining terrorists. Hassle in Kulgam’s Chawalgam broke out after security forces launched a hunt operation.
