Raju Srivastava dies: After making millions laugh, comedian passes away at 58

Raju Srivastava’s popular stand-up comedian died at the age of 58. He suffered a sudden heart attack on August 10 after that he was rushed to Aiims Delhi. The actor was immediately transferred to the ICU and received life support.

He did not get awareness for more than 40 days and despite the doctor’s attempt, his health continued to deteriorate even a few days after he suffered a heart attack. The doctor has shared that he suffered brain damage after a heart attack.

He was declared dead at 10:20 am on September 21, according to the hospital source.I got a call from a family about half an hour ago said he was no longer there. This is really a very unfortunate news. He fought in the hospital for more than 40 days,” Dipoo Srivastava told PTI.

Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Chairman Pradesh Yogi Adityanath had called Raju Srivastava Shikha’s wife to ask about his health and offer support.

Born as Satya Prakash Srivastava on December 25, 1963, he considers Raju as his stage name. He is often credited as Gajodhar because of his popular action. A president of Kanpur and comes from a middle class family, Raju always wants to be a comedian. He began his job as a stand-up comedian with the talent show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and finished as the second runner-up. The post he followed, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions, and won the title “The King of Comedy”.

Raju Srivastava has performed both in India and abroad. He also made several Bollywood films including Maine Pyar Kiya Rajshri Productions and other small roles in popular films namely Baazigar and Bombay to Goa. He is part of Aamdani Atthanni Khachaha Rupaiya

Raju also got a lot of fans when he participated in Bigg Boss Season 3 and Nach Baliye Season 6. He also appeared in Comedy Nights with Kapil.
