Verizon Media made a decision to turn off Yahoo Indian operations because of changes in rules that limit foreign funding of more than 26% in digital news media outlets.

Yahoo’s American web service provider turned off its services in India on Thursday, August 26, thus stopped the publication of content operations throughout the country from today and so on.
