China ingrained US republic a” armament of mass destruction”on Saturday, following the US-organised Summit for Democracy which aimed to shore up like-inclined abettors in the face of autocratic administrations.
China was left out of the two- day virtual peak– along with countries including Russia and Hungary– and responded by angrily criminating US President Joe Biden of supersizing Cold War- period ideological divides.

Ahead of the peak, China ramped up a propaganda blitz criticising US republic as loose and a failure.

The US Treasury on Friday sanctioned two high- position Chinese officers for mortal rights abuses in the Xinjiang region and placed Chinese AI surveillance establishment SenseTime on a blacklist for its facial recognition technology targeting the Uyghur nonage.
Taiwan, a popular tone- ruling islet that’s claimed by China, was invited to the US peak in a clear rebuff to its larger neighbour.
But Beijing got a boost in the middle of Biden’s peak when Nicaragua dropped its former politic alliance with Taiwan, saying it only recognised China.
