Weapon Of Mass Destruction…”: China Slams US After Biden’s Summit

China ingrained US republic a” armament of mass destruction”on Saturday, following the US-organised Summit for Democracy which aimed to shore up like-inclined abettors in the face of autocratic administrations.

China was left out of the two- day virtual peak– along with countries including Russia and Hungary– and responded by angrily criminating US President Joe Biden of supersizing Cold War- period ideological divides.

Republic’has long come a’ armament of mass destruction’ used by the US to intrude in other countries,”a foreign ministry prophet said in an online statement, which also indicted the US of having” instigated’ colour revolutions'”overseas.

The ministry also claimed the peak was organised by the US to” draw lines of ideological prejudice, instrumentalise and weaponise republic. (and) incite division and battle.”

Rather, Beijing pledged to” intensively repel and oppose all kinds ofpseudo-democracies”.

Ahead of the peak, China ramped up a propaganda blitz criticising US republic as loose and a failure.

Rather, it touted its own interpretation of” whole- process people’s republic”in a white paper released last week that aimed to shore up legality for the ruling Communist Party, which has come decreasingly authoritarian under President Xi Jinping.

While the US has constantly denied there will be another Cold War with China, pressures between the world’s two largest husbandry have entwined in recent times over issues including trade and technological competition, mortal rights, Xinjiang and Taiwan.

The US Treasury on Friday sanctioned two high- position Chinese officers for mortal rights abuses in the Xinjiang region and placed Chinese AI surveillance establishment SenseTime on a blacklist for its facial recognition technology targeting the Uyghur nonage.

Taiwan, a popular tone- ruling islet that’s claimed by China, was invited to the US peak in a clear rebuff to its larger neighbour.

But Beijing got a boost in the middle of Biden’s peak when Nicaragua dropped its former politic alliance with Taiwan, saying it only recognised China.

The advertisement leaves Taiwan with only 14 politic abettors. In response, the US State Department called on”all countries that value popular institutions”to” expand engagement”with the islet.
