Russia-Ukraine War News Live Updates: Moscow warns nuclear war risks now ‘considerable’; UK dismisses it as “bravado”

Minister of England Armed Forces Minister James Humumpley said on Tuesday he did not think there was a threat of escalation in the war in Ukraine, rejecting comments by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as Bravado.

Previously Lavrov told the world not to underestimate the great risk of nuclear conflict, and said the supply of NATO weapons to Ukraine “essentially” means that the Western alliance was involved in a proxy war with Russia.

In other news, the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Monday held talks with his partner Polish Zbigniew Rau and shared assessments and views on Ukraine. Jaisankar also thanked him for facilitating the evacuation of Indian students during Ganga surgery.

The Reuters news agency, citing trade and sources of Indian governments, reported that Russian and Indian officials met last week in an effort to resolve the deadlock over coal coal shipments to Indian steelmakers, which have dried up since marching.
