Standing in 13 crime scenes is one of the most deadly mass killings in modern Canadian history and is certain to echo throughout the country, which is not accustomed to mass violence attacks that look more common in neighboring the United States.
The Canadian police have appointed two suspects – Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson – who are currently underway.
Marco Demicino, the Minister of Public Security of Canada, has urged the population of the city to remain safe and shelter. “For everyone in Saskatchewan, especially those close to the first nation of James Smith Cree, please take shelter in place and stay safe,” he tweeted.
Residents in the area of the capital regina are also advised not to approach suspicious people and do not take passengers. RCMP also asked them to report suspicious people, emergencies or 911 information. They were also asked not to share the location of the police.
